Will these classes be too intellectual for the average person?

No. These classes are intended to reach the average layman, to support and encourage them in their Christian life.

Theologically, are these classes presented in complete fidelity to the Magisterium?

In a word, "yes." At the same time when covering these topics it is often important to elucidate perspectives that diverge from official Magisterial teaching. But the presentation will make clear what the official teachings are and which perspectives diverge so as to not confuse the student.
